The Validated Technology Leadership Accreditation is founded on a simple belief: professional capability should not be measured solely by the certificates you have collected, but by what you have actually achieved, the challenges you have overcome and what you have learned along the way.
A CV or résumé can tell a recruiter, potential employer, CEO or board where you have worked and the positions you have held, but it rarely reveals the true depth of your technology expertise or the scale and significance of what you have achieved. Transformations led, complex technologies mastered, teams built, investment managed, boards influenced, industries shaped and business-critical challenges solved can be difficult for those outside technology to fully recognise or evaluate. Sometimes it takes an experienced technology leader to truly understand the experience and capability of another, and to provide an independent 3rd party view that the skills on the CV are real.

The Validated Technology Leadership Accreditation independently assesses the evidence of your career achievements against the standards expected of accomplished technology leaders, recognising not simply what you know, but what you have delivered.
Displayed on your CV, résumé or LinkedIn profile, the accreditation provides employers, boards and executive recruiters with a credible and independently validated indication of the leadership capability, professional experience and real-world impact behind your career.
How it works
The accreditation has been developed drawing upon the extensive experience of technology leaders across a wide range of industry sectors, and is assessed by individuals currently occupying technology C-Suite positions rather than by academic review alone.
Rather than requiring a period of study, the accreditation assesses the capability you have already demonstrated in senior technology roles — strategy, leadership, delivery and innovation — and validates it against a consistent international standard.
You are supported throughout by an assessor who helps you assemble the evidence required, so the process fits around your professional and personal commitments.
On successful assessment you receive a formal certificate together with a structured Evidence Portfolio that can be shared with employers, boards and executive recruiters.
The Accreditation Award
The certificate and accreditation mark are issued on successful completion of the assessment, alongside your Evidence Portfolio.
The award is recognised internationally and may be displayed on your CV, résumé and professional profiles as evidence of independently validated technology leadership experience.
